Public module documentation
xstar-tools: source-faithful Python/C++ tools for XSTAR workflows.
Top-level imports are intentionally lightweight. Use subpackages such as
xstar_tools.atomic and xstar_tools.xstar for functionality.
Stable public run configuration for xstar_tools.
This module is a productization layer. It normalizes user-facing input sources
without implementing XSTAR science; execution remains delegated to the frozen
qualified paths in xstar_tools.execution.
Stable public result and product objects for xstar_tools.
Data-location and download helpers for XSTAR atdb.fits.
The package does not bundle the large XSTAR atomic database. These helpers
record a local data directory in the project-level datapath file and optionally
retrieve atdb.fits from the public HEASARC/LHEASOFT distribution.
Stable public execution modes for xstar-tools.
This module is intentionally a thin productization layer over the qualified execution paths. It does not implement scientific calculations itself.
